The waterfall on the Bois Bananes River in the commune of Lamentin doesn't seem very well known. However, it is very beautiful and has a lovely pool perfect for swimming. An easy hike, first on a farm track through sugarcane fields, then on the Guyonneau forest road, and finally on a well-marked forest trail, allows you to reach it. For the return, a slightly longer route through the Castra forest allows you to better discover this beautiful forest while avoiding the Guyonneau forest road.
