The hike from Sofaïa to the Saut des Trois Cornes, in the commune of Sainte-Rose, allows you to see an original waterfall and discover the rich flora and fauna of the dense humid forest.
The trees are often gigantic. Among the most iconic and common on this trail are the White Gum, the Incense Wood, the Red Carapate Wood, and the Boucan Acomat. The enormous Boudin-Tordu vine is also very remarkable.
Some of the fauna in this forest does not show itself but makes itself heard, such as the Guadeloupe Woodpecker, the Cicada and the "tink tink" Cricket.
