Traces of the Arawak Indians' past in the Antilles, engraved rocks, or petroglyphs, are schematic figures dating from 300 to 400 AD to which religious significance is attributed. Discovered in the 19th century, they are protected and classified as Historic Monuments. The park includes 22 rocks bearing nearly 230 engravings, one of the largest collections in the Lesser Antilles! This archaeological concentration remains an enigma for historians to this day.
